THE BOUNDLESS OCEAN OF GRIEF AND THE SHORE OF CONSOLATION

The boundless ocean of grief and the shore of consolation

The untimely demise of my elder brother, Shri Sadashiv Dada, has brought an overwhelming wave of grief upon our family. In such trying times, our relatives, friends, villagers, and well-wishers from the surrounding areas extended their compassionate support to console us. Their affectionate words and comforting presence lightened the heavy burden of our sorrow to some extent.

I am especially grateful to my dear friends Tr. Chetan Bodekar, Tr. Prafulla Jadhav, and Tr. Sandesh Tulsankar, who came all the way from Vaibhavwadi, Sindhudurg district, to offer their heartfelt condolences. As they say, “Words of solace soothe the wounds of grief,” but there are sorrows so profound that they seem beyond the reach of any consolation. Yet, during this sorrowful phase, the heartfelt words and warm companionship of my friends provided a much-needed anchor to the endless ocean of despair.

In life, companions in happiness are easy to find, but it is those who rush to our side in times of sorrow who are true friends. With their humanity and empathy as my foundation, I feel assured that I will overcome this immense grief. The support and solace offered by my friends during this difficult time will remain etched in my memory forever.

Dear friends, I shall remain eternally indebted to your selfless love and genuine care. In this tide of sorrow, the support you have given me is a treasure I will hold close for a lifetime.

Yours forever in gratitude,
Sambhajirao Suryavanshi
